Convert existing packages

All applications are first delivered in an MSI format. This offers the highest flexibility. Packaging Robot can automatically convert existing distribution formats such as manually created MSIs, Novell ZENworks AOT-objects and SMS installer scripts into Microsoft App-V, MSI or VMware ThinApp.

Application virtualization

Not all applications can be virtualised, e.g. applications which install drivers, lodge directly in the operating system and use specific services. Packaging Robot gives you the choice to generate a Microsoft Application Virtualization package, a MSI or a VMware ThinApp package or all three formats. This prevents the risk of not being able to distribute an application. It ensures 100% certainty that all applications can be deployed, either with App-V, ThinApp or traditional software distribution with MSI.
